Creating...

I love being creative. Usually, photography is my creative outlet. Recently, though I'm still photographing, I've also taken a liking to making things.

In North Carolina, my good friend Ashley and I would have what we called "Arts & Crafts Night". We worked on all sorts of things, from baby shower decorations to wedding decorations, and everything in between. She's a photographer, too, and we seemed to both thoroughly enjoy having a hands on creative outlet. Since moving to Florida, my craftiness has come to a halt. I found making things seemed not nearly as fun when I didn't have a girlfriend to goof off with (or watch Grey's Anatomy with) while crafting.

Then, a few months ago Andrew's aunt Francis gave me a sewing machine. Craftiness, welcome back. I love using this thing! I'm constantly trying to figure out how to make new things, or designing things to make.
I've made quite a few things for my soon-to-be neice, Addelyn. Little girl things are much more fun to make than little boy things, so I'm pretty excited to have Miss Addie to make things for. Hopefully my sister is just as excited when she sees the things I've been creating.

I can't show you the things I've made for Addie just yet, but in the mean time, here are some of the creations I've designed and made for other little babes...

The headband and skirt are actually for Addie, and I already gave my sister the onesie (bum ruffles and all!) that matches. I'll have a full picture of that outfit, along with the other plethora of things I've made for Addelyn, next weekend!

Stay tuned for more gRoweing Designs!
